Emotional Freedom Technique
Founded by Gary Craig, EFT is an easy to learn energy healing technique. Based on Chinese medicine, with its foundations in acupressure and acupuncture, EFT helps release blockages in the body's subtle energy system. The principles of this simple technique are based on the idea that unresolved emotions such as fear, anxiety, pain, sadness, guilt, shame, feelings of unworthiness, etc. often remain trapped in the subconscious. Left in hiding, these often long forgotten issues can contribute to creating blockages in energy flow, which can lead to illness. EFT is claimed to have been successful for the relief of many of today's emotional and physical ailments by both contributing to uncovering hidden issues and restoring a naturally balanced energetic flow within the bodily system.
